Intersectional Interfaith with Blair Imani
Updated: Apr 1
Blair Imani's keynote from the 2021 Ripple Conference will be available here on March 31 for 30 days.
Video is currently unavailable. It will be back up soon for members of the Elon University community via login.
Blair opened the conference speaking from her own experience and expertise about the need for interfaith engagement to be intersectional and engage all of a person's identities. She shares strategies for being more open to different perspectives and how to build relationships in the midst of discomforting difference.
This rebroadcast is sponsored by Liberal Arts Forum and Spirit and Pride, a partnership between the Truitt Center and the Gender and LGBTQIA Center to support the spiritual lives of LGBTQIA+ students. In her keynote, Blair talks about her experience as a Black and Queer Muslim woman. Additional sponsors include Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life, Gender and LGBTQIA Center, and Elon Muslim Society.
